I’m Rachel B. Griffis, Associate Professor of English at Spring Arbor University. I teach writing and literature courses. My teaching and research interests include American literature, Cormac McCarthy, the Christian literary tradition, and Christian teaching and learning. I serve as a reviews editor at International Journal of Christianity and Education. My co-authored book, Deep Reading: Practices to Subvert the Vices of our Distracted, Hostile, and Consumeristic Age was published in 2024.
